1960s Italian Gaetano Sciolari Chrome & Glass Chandelier

£ 750

1960s Italian pendant chandelier ceiling light with twelve square cubist shades - six that face upwards and six downwards. Designed by Gaetano Sciolari for Sciolari Lighting.  The glass shades are supported on a polished chrome-plated steel frame which is attached to a circular matte black metal disc and in turn is attached to the chrome square supporting square ceiling column with matching ceiling cup. The shades alternate at different heights around the disc.  The opposing shades are at different heights to one another - three high and three low.

The light requires 12 x E14 screw-in bulbs preferably LEDs for energy saving purposes.  Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order.  In good vintage condition.

A smaller version is also available on the Retro Living website.  Some small chips to the glass shades which are barely noticeable.
