An absolutely stunning futuristic pair of 1950s Italian armchairs attributed to Pierluigi Colli. Newly reupholstered The armchairs are iconic examples of what you would expect from Italian design from the 1950s.  The back rest features a rectangular horizontal open gap with Gucci colours of red and green velvet fabric inset into beige soft boucle fabric with feature piping in the same colours of either red or green at the joints.  As a contrast the boucle on the back and sides of the armchairs is a slightly darker tan colour.

The space age "Jetsons" design of the armchairs has very elegant lines with softer more subtle rounded backs and sides.  The space age aspect comes from the pointed armrests that flow outwards and upwards. This armchairs also feature corresponding  shelf gap sections on either side again with Gucci colours of red and green in velvet on the inside. The chairs stand on black conically tapered wooden legs with brass tips with a wonderful aged patina.  Newly reupholstered with incredible detail and design.
