A beautiful set of 6 - 1960s Danish Erik Kirkegaard Model 49b solid teak dining chairs Manufactured by Hong Stolefabrik.
The chairs are beautifully sculpted and well designed with comfortable backrests which curve into feature elbow supports. The visible feature detail in the joinery is beautiful, along with the wood selection and aged patina of the wood. The chairs present remarkably well while showing signs of use consistent with their vintage and past functional use. The chairs retain their original black vinyl upholstery which is in good condition. The fabric on one of the chairs has an historic repair in the past.
