1970s Oval Erco Back Lit Lucite Wall Mirror
German lucite illuminated back lit oval wall mirror. Manufactured by Erco in the 1970s. The oval glass mirror sits within an unusual abstract, sculpted and textured moulded frame which reflects the light throughout giving a warm and ambient glow. The frame is in good condition with one hairline crack as shown in one of the images which isn't visible when the mirror is slotted into place in front.
A pull switch is fitted to the bottom of each mirror which allows them to be turned on and off easily if required. I would recommend hard wiring the mirror into the wall in order to hide the flex but this is optional. The mirror works well in most rooms of the home to add a certain wow factor or to make a space more different and interesting.
Each mirror holds six E14 small screw in light bulbs. Maximum 6 x 25 W.
