Small 1960s Kaiser Leuchten Textured Glass Flush Mount
Small 1960s German Kaiser Leuchten textured, iced-glass, flush mount ceiling light. The thick textured glass circular base plate is mounted onto the white frame with three chrome screws which secure it in place. The light-bulbs can be accessed by removing this plate. The circular textured glass outer shade is made from one piece of glass and fused together which you can barely notice. This glass ring is also held in place with three matching screws with chrome heads. There are some small scratches to one or two of the screws.
The light requires three E14 Edison screw-in light bulbs preferably candle-bulbs to help diffuse the light. I would recommend LEDs which are more energy efficient. The light has been rewired and is in full working order. In very good vintage condition with some age-related wear to some of the chrome screws. No chips or cracks to the glass. Perfect for all rooms specifically those with a low ceiling.
The original makers label is present on the metal base plate.
