Early 1960s Christian Dior Blue & Clear Crystal Necklace
An absolutely stunning early example of a 1960s Christian Dior necklace, with prong-set blue and clear crystals. The necklace is a classic example of Dior's elegant and sophisticated design and is made with a series of blue and clear crystals that are set in a sliver-tone metal frame. The clear crystals are arranged in flower design with the rectangular blue crystals set in a geometric pattern beneath which is both eye-catching and elegant. The necklace is also signed with the Christian Dior logo, which adds to its authenticity and value.
The necklace is a rare and collectible piece of jewellery. It is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to any jewellery collection. It would be a beautiful statement piece to wear with a variety of outfits, from dressy to casual.
I am selling this necklace on behalf of a specialist costume jewellery dealer who has had it in her private collection for over 40 years and has never been worn. The original box is not available.
A pair of matching earrings are also available on the Retro Living website under a separate listing. The necklace is featured in Judith Miller's Book "Costume Jewellery"
