VINTAGE CZECH. BROOCH - MULTICOLOURED GLASS STONES - NEIGER
This is a vintage Czech. brooch from around 1930 in gold tone over brass metal. It has oval cabochon glass stones in red, blue and green. There are also smaller round red cabochon stones. It has painted leaves and flowers. I believe this brooch to be made by Max Neiger. Please see full notes on my web site - www.gillianhorsup.com As Neiger jewellery was not usually marked it is difficult to be sure about any attribution but some designs are more well known than others. Please also see my notes on Neiger Jewellery under 'Manufacturers My Notes'. This is a beautiful, understated brooch that is in very good condition considering the age. It measures approx 2 3/8 x 1 1/2 inches.
