1950s Italian Brass & Wood Bar Cart or Drinks Trolley by Cesare Lacca - Cassina

£ 2250

A stunning thick-lacquered and polished wood with a stained rosewood finish and brass bar cart or drinks trolley. Designed by Cesare Lacca for Cassina during the 1950s.  The bar cart is beautifully made combining the formed curved frame with wonderful polished brass features and joints.

The bar cart features two removable glass trays which allow you to serve drinks after preparing them on top and shelves on the front and rear for bottles. The bar cart sits on four castor wheels which allows you to easily move it around the room. The brass has a wonderful aged patina and recently restored highly polished wood is in very good vintage condition.  The glass on each of the two trays is scratched in places commensurate with its age and past use. A stunning piece that combines both form and function as well as adding an element of old style Hollywood glamour.
