Oliver Offord’s Vitreous Body, now showing at Bolding within the historic Alfies Antique Market. Offord, a London-based artist trained at Wimbledon College of Arts and the Royal Drawing School, transforms anatomical imagery into dreamlike landscapes where vision and perception collide.
Drawing inspiration from medical studies of the human eye, Offord reimagines inner worlds where staircases spiral from lenses, cell structures morph into flora, and the body becomes a mysterious terrain. Framed under glass dotted like the eye’s own vitreous fluid, each piece evokes both scientific precision and surreal imagination.
With recent exhibitions in London and Düsseldorf and works held in prestigious collections including the Royal Collection, Offord’s latest body of work invites viewers to contemplate fragility, transformation, and the act of seeing itself.
