Victorian Solid Beech Hat Block Display Stand 21 1/2

Early 20th Century Victorian solid beech millinery block stand in a lovely used unfinished natural condition. The numerous pin marks from years of making hats add to its character and provenance. The block stands on a custom made matching removable beech stand which is marked: 21 1/2. There are two joint lines around the hat block where three pieces of solid wood have been used to create its form and glued together.
In a used vintage condition with pin marks and some small dents. There are some watermarks and discolouration in places and a 5cm hairline crack along the middle section as illustrated in the images. There is some writing in pencil on the base which I am unable to read.
