Modernist, Modigliani-style ceramic sculpture of elongated head

An arresting ceramic sculpture of an elongated male head, in the manner of Amedeo Modigliani. Monolithic in form, the ceramic head is in a dark brown glaze and has the appearance of carved wood.
Condition: The item has some discolouration to the back of both ears, along with various other imperfections visible elsewhere. There is also a small section of inside base rim missing. Although none of this detracts from the innate allure of the piece, we have nonetheless priced the item accordingly. Further photographs are available upon request.

This vintage 1960s item is unsigned and there is no indication of place of origin.
