When Bennie Gray founded Alfies Antique Market, he named it after his father, Alfie Gray - whose warmth, character and spirit became part of the identity of the market itself. As Alfies celebrates 50 years, it feels only right to honour those who have dedicated so much of their lives to it. Eamon of Goldsmith and Perris remain Alfies’ longest-standing dealers, having traded here for almost the entirety of the market’s history. From silver tableware and cocktail shakers to perfume bottles, Sheffield Plate, antique lighting and elegant objects for the table, Goldsmith & Perris have long been known for their beautifully curated stand and deep knowledge of decorative antiques. Presented to The Queen on her 60th birthday, they remain one of the great enduring names of Alfies. @goldsmithperris
