In this video, he shares two particularly rare favourites. 🐞 A charming ladybird bauble, dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s. Blown in one continuous piece of glass before being delicately hand-painted. 🐜 An exceptionally hard to find ant bauble, made in the former Soviet Union around the end of the 1950s. Remarkably, all of its delicate legs remain intact, and like many vintage ornaments of the period, it’s finished with a touch of fabulous glitter! Taking centre stage is an extraordinary French evening bag dating to the 1950s/60s, crafted in 18ct rose, yellow, and white gold with intricate woven detailing and rose-cut diamonds. Weighing an impressive 246 grams, it’s a remarkable example of post-war French goldsmithing. Also featured are two sculptural gold necklaces by Cartier and Boodles, elegant Italian diamond-set earrings from the 1970s, a Tiffany gold bangle, a diamond-set bangle, a sculptural Swiss-made Jean Renet watch and a vintage diamond ring.
